About Andy
Andy Muir is a Glasgow-based asset finance professional with 36 years of experience across vehicle and business finance.
Most recently he was Head of Sales at Mann Island Finance, part of the Investec group, having stepped up from regional manager. He was part of the team that took the business from credit broker to lender, then led its sales drive with dealers across the UK.
His approach has always been practical: give dealers access to experienced people, a lending appetite across the credit spectrum and someone who is keen to help. Earlier in his career he worked at Black Horse Finance.
In October 2026, Andy connected with Forward Asset Finance, bringing systems and process experience to help future-proof the business. He now offers that experience as a consultant through KAM Consulting (Glasgow) Ltd.
