1. Who we are

Forward Asset Finance Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. KAM Consulting (Glasgow) Ltd ("KAM", "we", "us", "our") collects contact details on its behalf. KAM is a company registered in Scotland (company number SC885220) with its registered office at 3 Woodside Grove, Rutherglen, Glasgow G73 3HQ. Personal data is processed under the ICO registration of Forward Asset Finance Ltd.

We are an Introducer Appointed Representative of Forward Asset Finance Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 630723). This notice covers this website and our business activity. Questions about this notice or your data can be sent to info@kamconsultingltd.com or to the address above.

2. The short version

This website is an information site. It has no user accounts, no payment facilities and no forms, and it does not currently set cookies. We normally hold personal data about you only when you contact us, or when you ask us to introduce you to Forward Asset Finance Ltd for finance. We do not sell personal data.

3. Information we collect through the website

• Correspondence. If you email or call us, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to tell us.
• Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and performance. We do not use these to identify individuals.
• Fonts. The website loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests files from Google's servers and discloses your IP address to Google. Google's own privacy policy governs that processing.

The website does not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking. If that changes, we will update this notice first.

4. When we introduce you to Forward Asset Finance

If you ask us to, we pass your name and contact details to Forward Asset Finance Ltd so that it can contact you. Forward Asset Finance Ltd will send you its own finance application to complete, and will use your data as a controller under its own privacy notice, which it will provide to you. We do not collect finance application details ourselves.

5. Lawful bases we rely on

• Contract: processing needed to take steps at your request, such as introducing you to Forward Asset Finance Ltd.
• Legitimate interests: responding to enquiries, keeping in touch with existing business contacts, running and securing the website, and keeping records.
• Legal obligation: where we must keep or disclose information to comply with the law, including FCA rules and anti-money-laundering requirements.
• Consent: where you have agreed to receive updates from us. You can withdraw consent at any time.

6. How we use personal data

To respond to you; to introduce you to Forward Asset Finance Ltd; to meet our regulatory obligations; to run and secure the website; to keep business and accounting records; and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

7. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with: Forward Asset Finance Ltd, as our principal, when you ask us to introduce you; service providers who support our business (such as website hosting, email and IT providers) acting on our instructions; professional advisers (such as accountants, solicitors and insurers) where necessary; and regulators, including the FCA, and other public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

8. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: correspondence for as long as the relationship remains active plus a reasonable period afterwards; records of introductions to Forward Asset Finance Ltd for the periods required by FCA rules and tax law (generally six years); and a record of any objection to marketing for as long as needed to honour it.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; have inaccurate data rectified; have data erased in certain circumstances; restrict or object to processing, including an absolute right to object to direct marketing; data portability in certain circumstances; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any right, contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

10. International transfers

We store and process personal data in the United Kingdom wherever possible. Where a service provider processes data outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the approved standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.

11. Children

This website and our services are for businesses and adults and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and we will highlight any material changes here.
